Terry Spence joined the Royal Ulster Constabulary in 1977 and served in the following stations: Glengormley, Musgrave Street, Tennent Street CID, was promoted to rank of Sergeant and then served in Newtownstewart HMSU, Woodbourne, Springfield Road, Mountpottinger and Willowfield.
Terry was first elected to Regional Board in 1989 and has served on Central Committee since 1994. He was elected as PFNI Assistant Secretary / Secretary of the RUC GC - PSNI Benevolent Fund on 12 April, and became Secretary of the Federation from April 2004 - October 2006, when he was elected as Chairman.
Terry represents the Federation on various Committees, is the lead negotiator at the Police Negotiating Board, and in relation to severance issues regarding Full-Time Reserve.
